To successfully advance the university’s mission and goals, an environment that values the development and support of our staff is key. The ASU Staff Council serves as a collective voice to ensure this kind of environment is a part of the university’s culture. Some of the ways Staff Council works to accomplish this is by enhancing university communications, providing recommendations for improving the working climate and promoting professional development opportunities.

The mission of the Arizona State University Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) is to identify, advocate for, and increase awareness of needed change in the university in order to enhance opportunities for women and other underrepresented groups.
The African & African American Faculty and Staff Association supports the advancement of faculty, staff, administrators, and students of African and African-American descent in concert with the evolution of Arizona State University.
The ASU CLFSA organization’s mission is to promote an exchange of ideas about the policies and issues that affect the progress of Chicanos and Latinos at ASU. This mission includes establishing a better understanding and appreciation, on the part of the university and the community as a whole, of the problems faced by the Chicanos and Latinos at this university including students.

The Organizational Excellence Community of Practice is for all university faculty and staff who perform or have an interest in process improvement, organizational development, change management and project management. Meets quarterly.
The Arizona State University Faculty Women of Color Caucus (FWOCC) is a gathering of faculty from across all ASU campuses, working together to plan and host forums for students, staff, faculty and administrators, to discuss vital issues, research and ideas in critical, healthy and inviting settings.
